A decorative ceramic serving dish with a softly shaped octagonal form, finished with cobalt blue scrollwork, gilt detailing and delicate pink rose garlands around the border.
The crazing and staining to the centre give it plenty of age and character, while the floral border still has lovely colour. A pretty piece for open shelving, a dresser or table, either used decoratively or for displaying fruit and collected pieces.
There is age-related crazing, staining, surface wear and rubbing to the gilt decoration throughout.
