A wonderful pair of vintage wooden lawn bowls, beautifully aged and full of sporting history.
Featuring a rich, dark ebonised finish, traditional turned detailing and original cream-coloured inset roundels bearing the initials ‘WHK’.
The surfaces have developed a beautiful timeworn patina, with years of use leaving behind a lovely character and depth of colour.
Once used for the traditional game of lawn bowls, these substantial wooden pieces now make wonderfully unusual decorative objects.
Perfect displayed together on a bookshelf, stacked antique books or within a cabinet of curiosities. A charming addition to a country house interior, study or collection of vintage sporting memorabilia.
