• Large brass church candelabra standing 120 cm tall and 90 cm wide. It holds nine candles across elegant curved arms, with a central crown shaped drip tray and decorative scrollwork. Solid brass with floral bosses and a weighted base typical of early to mid twentieth century ecclesiastical pieces. A dramatic statement piece with real presence, perfect for a hallway, dining room, or feature corner. Height 120cm Width 90cm
  • A delicate 9ct gold ring set with a rich deep-red garnet in a heart cut, framed by fine bead detailing and openwork shoulders. The pierced band gives it that unmistakable late-Victorian to early Edwardian romantic feel. Sweet without being twee, and very wearable.

Garnet was a hugely popular stone in the Victorian era, symbolising love, devotion and protection, which makes this piece especially fitting as a sentimental gift or keepsake ring.

Presented in a heart-shaped ring box, perfect for gifting.

  • A decorative late 19th century oil on canvas landscape depicting calm waters and distant mountains, painted in soft earthy tones of blue, green and muted pink. The painting is housed in an ornate Victorian gilt frame with oak leaf and acorn detailing, adding warmth and character. A timeless piece that sits comfortably in both period and contemporary interiors.
  • A Victorian gypsy or fortune teller’s table with a circular faux leather top, finished with mustard passementerie fringe. Raised on three finely turned mahogany legs united by ring-turned stretchers and a central finial, this piece has strong decorative presence and great proportions. Ideal as a side table, lamp table or statement accent in a layered interior.
  • A powerful Cameroon ceremonial helmet mask carved from a single block of dense hardwood. The weight alone tells its story. At 2.5 kg, it has the presence and gravity of a piece that was made to be worn in ritual, not produced for the tourist market. The broad, domed form and expressive features create a striking silhouette, softened by the worn pigment and the slow patina of age.

There is a real sense of character in the carving, from the raised triangular chest to the deep set eyes and the toothy grin. It feels both protective and enigmatic, exactly what you want from an old ceremonial mask. The surface carries the marks of handling, use, and time, giving it a texture that only comes from decades of life.

A commanding sculptural piece for a shelf or console.

  • Antique plaster relief of a reclining classical figure, finished with a natural calcite patina. Over time, mineral rich water has deposited a thin layer of calcite across the surface which gives it a soft stone like feel and a unique aged texture.

Likely late nineteenth or early twentieth century. Fine detailing in the drapery, trees, and figure. A beautiful decorative piece with real character.

Set in an oval frame with a warm timber finish, the piece has strong depth and texture that echo antique Grand Tour studies. A decorative classical work with real presence.
  • Antique religious icon with an embossed metal oklad and hand painted faces, sourced in Sardinia. The metal cover is richly worked with floral and symbolic detailing, all done by hand and showing real age. The painted faces of the Madonna and Child are visible through the openings, giving the piece depth and that layered, devotional look associated with older icons.

The metal has oxidised and darkened over time, and the wooden panel beneath shows age movement, which is exactly what you want to see on a piece of this period. Icons with this level of hand tooling, intact panels and original painted insert are becoming harder to find, especially outside their countries of origin.

The silver plated frame has detailed beading and floral motifs, with some expected wear to the base from age and use. Overall it presents beautifully and turns smoothly.

As well as being a lovely display piece, it works brilliantly for modern use. Fill the bottles with chilli oils, vinegars, dressings, or everyday table sauces and keep it on the counter or dining table. It brings a bit of old world charm into daily life.
