The glass panel lifts smoothly and the interior has that dry, time softened look that only real age gives. The cabinet is made from a warm toned hardwood with its original maker’s plate intact, adding to its provenance and appeal.

Small Victorian indoor bowls made from lignum vitae, late 19th century. A partial set with numbered inlays and the classic weighty feel of this dense hardwood. The surfaces have the expected scuffs and patina from use which only adds to their charm. Lovely as decorative objects in a bowl or lined on a shelf, and a nice example of traditional indoor bowling pieces from the period.
