  • A circular mahogany occasional table raised on a turned pedestal with a shaped tripod base. Well-proportioned and stable, with a rich, warm finish. Ideal as a lamp table, wine table, or beside a chair or sofa. Clean lines with subtle age-related wear, giving it character without looking tired.
  • Vintage lacquer tray with a painted bird and foliage design on a deep black ground. The surface has age wear, edge losses and scuffs which sit well on a piece like this and give it that lived, honest character. The painting still reads clearly and the tray has a lovely flat profile that works both as a serving piece and as a decorative layer on a table or shelf.

Raised on four turned wooden legs with a warm aged patina, this piece has a lovely sense of character and softness. Ideal as a footrest, fireside accent or decorative stool, it adds colour and texture without overwhelming a space.

  • Early twentieth century wooden workshop drawers with their original metal labels and ornate brass handles. The timber has a warm, worn surface with the marks you’d expect from years of use. The labels read “Four Fold” and “Two Hole”, likely referring to sizes or types of old workshop fittings.

Both drawers run smoothly for their age. A characterful piece with an industrial look and a hint of haberdashery style. Ideal for storing stationery, tools, or small items.

  • Elegant silver plated cruet set with six cut glass bottles in a decorative rotating stand. The bottles have faceted stoppers and classic Victorian style shaping. As well as being a lovely display piece, it works brilliantly for modern use. Fill the bottles with chilli oils, vinegars, dressings, or everyday table sauces and keep it on the counter or dining table. It brings a bit of old world charm into daily life.

  • Antique religious icon with an embossed metal oklad and hand painted faces, sourced in Sardinia. The metal cover is richly worked with floral and symbolic detailing, all done by hand and showing real age. The painted faces of the Madonna and Child are visible through the openings, giving the piece depth and that layered, devotional look associated with older icons.

The metal has oxidised and darkened over time, and the wooden panel beneath shows age movement, which is exactly what you want to see on a piece of this period. Icons with this level of hand tooling, intact panels and original painted insert are becoming harder to find, especially outside their countries of origin.

  • Antique plaster relief of a reclining classical figure, finished with a natural calcite patina. Over time, mineral rich water has deposited a thin layer of calcite across the surface which gives it a soft stone like feel and a unique aged texture.

Likely late nineteenth or early twentieth century. Fine detailing in the drapery, trees, and figure. A beautiful decorative piece with real character.

Set in an oval frame with a warm timber finish, the piece has strong depth and texture that echo antique Grand Tour studies. A decorative classical work with real presence.
